Namecheap EasyWP Review
EasyWP is Namecheap's managed WordPress hosting platform, built to strip away the technical hassle of running a WordPress site at a price well below premium hosts like WP Engine and Kinsta. WordPress comes installed, optimized, and maintained for you - no cPanel, no server management, no plugin-compatibility headaches.
EasyWP pricing
There are three plans, all for a single website, much cheaper on annual billing:
- Starter - around $10/month (≈$4/month annually): 10 GB NVMe storage, ~50,000 visitors/month.
- Turbo - around $14/month (≈$8/month annually): 50 GB storage, ~200,000 visitors/month.
- Supersonic - around $21/month (≈$14/month annually): 100 GB storage, ~500,000 visitors/month, and a 99.99% uptime SLA.
Unusually for managed WordPress, EasyWP offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can install WordPress, test themes, and import content before paying anything.
Features & performance
Every plan includes a free Cloudflare-powered CDN, free Let's Encrypt SSL, SFTP and phpMyAdmin access, and automatic WordPress optimization and caching. In normal conditions, well-optimized sites load in around 1.2–1.8 seconds - perfectly solid for blogs and small business sites.
Pros and cons
- Pros: very affordable, genuinely simple (no server admin), free CDN + SSL, fast for low-to-medium traffic, and a rare no-card 30-day trial.
- Cons: each plan covers only one site; a single US data center (Phoenix) means higher latency for Asia/Africa visitors; no automatic backups on the Starter plan; and no phone support.
Is EasyWP worth it?
For most small-to-medium WordPress sites - especially blogs and businesses with a mainly North American audience - EasyWP is excellent value, offering a big chunk of the premium-managed experience at a fraction of the cost. If you expect heavy traffic, need multiple sites on one plan, or serve a global audience that needs multiple data centers, look at a higher-tier host like WP Engine.
